You want to join the Mobile Infantry, after reading this novel that has just half a century of life, to go and fight those nasty spiders that are at war with the Earth and colonies. Of course, training is hard, often someone has left the pens, but it should be, because as soon as you are launched on a planet to give a lesson to enemies or gain a valuable outpost in space, time to think there is very little, and you must be prepared to use grenades, flame throwers and bombs to flush those damned from their galleries and hope to dry some of the brain that coordinates them and guide them to the attack, while in the meantime tours your platoon and shaped the land with the hope to return aboard the Rodger Young, at least not if you do not live amputation of a limb or two. Fortunately, the soldiers wearing the suits power and are able to run and jump long distances unthinkable in a normal human being.
If we can not do, you can always go to town to do some work, but the right to vote you can forget it forever. Why? Because only those who has been at war has the knowledge the complexity of civic duties, and can put it to good use.
