In Milan it snows, sometimes, even the greenhouse effect. For two days the city is almost paralyzed, walking on the sidewalks is a scary risk, sometimes comes out of the tram tracks and shovellers of color who have never seen snow in their lives do what they can. Yet, to hear the national news it seemed that the city was covered by a light painting, image reinforced by interviews with local authorities, according to which everything seemed to be under control. You touched on a local TV station to lift a veil over the city and show how things really were. Yesterday afternoon Antenna 3 has established a non-stop until 23: in the studio, many politicians took turns and inevitably have a political reading since the emergency situation. But it was especially the many phone calls (about 10,000!), Faxes and emails of viewers (the same seamless web of the Courier) to provide a true picture of the condition, and exceptional drama and chaos that had befallen the city. In Milan it snows, every now and then: the TV does not shovel the snow but still need something.
